Abstract Submission Instructions

We invite abstract submissions for talks and poster presentations. Due to the nature of the workshop, a limited number of oral presentations will be accepted. However, every abstract may be considered for a poster presentation. You may specify whether you would like your abstract to be considered for a poster session only, or for oral presentation/poster.

Abstracts should be submitted by January 11th (extended from Jan. 4th). Abstracts will be peer-reviewed, and you will receive notification starting January 22nd.

500 word abstracts should be submitted in .pdf format through Linguist List's Easy Abstracts: http://linguistlist.org/confcustom/cimsa2013

Abstracts should follow these guidelines:

  • - Abstracts should be saved in pdf format.
  • - Abstracts should contain a maximum of 500 words, exclusive of references.
  • - Abstracts should contain a title, but not the author's name.
  • - Abstracts should be fully anonymous, with no self-references.
  • - Submissions for oral presentations should identify which of the themed panels the talk best fits in:
      - Representations and cognitive architecture
      - Adaptation and Acquisition
      - Individual differences in adaptation
  • Oral papers will be allocated 30 minutes for presentation, and speakers in each panel will be invited to jointly lead the session discussion following.
