Word Tier

Word labels are aligned at the end of the corresponding interval in the wave form.  The word tier in Sp-ToBI serves the same function as the orthographic tier in English ToBI.  Each word is labeled in standard Spanish orthography, except where there is no corresponding ASCII.  For example, the palatal nasal is written with "ny", following the emerging standard for e-mail.  Also, stress is marked  before the stressed syllable with the "'" diacritic when  not predicted by Spanish stress rules.
