E-Prime Scripts

  • FISHERSLOUTSKY_EP.zip - View images and give a response at each image; turns eye tracker data recording on and off; gives feedback

  • ITOSPEER_EP.zip - Follow spoken instructions to decorate a tree; turns eye tracker data recording on and off mid-sound file; references multiple procedures in the same list; allows trials (i.e., sound files) to be repeated

  • JONESFAZIO_EP.zip - View screen displays and potentially give a response at each display; turns eye tracker data recording on and off; uses nested lists to present some items in random order and others at fixed positions; responses do not control timing of objects

  • XUSPEER_EP.zip - Identify which of four visually-presented Chinese characters occurred in a spoken utterance; turns eye tracker data recording on and off


Perl Scripts

  • FISHERSLOUTSKY_PL.zip - Series of scripts that calculate for each participant the average number and duration of fixations by condition

  • ITOSPEER_PL.zip - Series of scripts that map fixations to auditory input and calculate by condition the proportion of fixations to each of eight visual targets and the latency of the first fixation to different targets

  • XUSPEER_PL.zip - Series of scripts that map fixations to auditory input and calculate the proportion of fixations by condition to four visual targets and the latency of the first fixation to different targets (target position rotates across lists, target position and critical word onset are specified in separate file)
