I’m a sociolinguist who studies linguistic variation in English and American Sign Language. My current research is about the social significance of language variation during later life (and here is a wordle of a recent paper). I’m currently a Visiting Assistant Professor in both the Linguistics Department and the English Department at The Ohio State University. Here you can find out more about my research, locate course syllabi and materials, and check out some links both serious and fun.
