Georgios Tserdanelis

I am a visiting postdoctoral researcher at the Ohio State University from Duke University. My areas of specialization are phonetics, phonology, psycholinguistics and Greek linguistics. My research focuses on phonetic variation in spoken language and its effect on the processing of ambiguous phrases. My PhD thesis was about segmental sandhi and prosodic structure in Greek. You can download a copy of it here. My thesis advisors were Mary Beckman and Brian Joseph. I am from Athens and I am a native speaker of Greek.

As of 1/1/2006 I have moved to SUNY at Stony Brook to work with Susan Brennan and Marie Huffman on a Speech Adaptation project.

Here is a picture of me in the Greek army.
