In this directory are the manuals for Auc-Tex (reference card and math reference card), NatBib (manual and reference card), TIPA (manual and vowel chart), and the handouts from the tutorial. (These are in the form of .dvi files, so use xdvi to view them (in case your browser doesn't start xdvi automatically). In addition, here are some useful further references: 1. On-Line LaTeX Documentation, General: There are several versions of latex documentation on line, though none are as complete and useful as the hard-copy latex books (see below). But one that is very useful is on our local system: http://ling.ohio-state/edu >> Internal Information >> System Support Page >> Hypertex Help with Latex) (or, http://www.ling.ohio-state.edu/local/support/Docs/latex/ltx-2.html) http://tex.loria.fr/general/latex2e.html 2. Information about (many) more LaTeX packages for linguistics: http://www.essex.ac.uk/linguistics/clmt/latex4ling// 3. Manuals in Book Form: If you use LaTeX a lot, you will probably want to buy a hard-copy manual sooner or later. The best one seems to be "A Guide to LaTeX" by Kopka and Daly (3rd edition, 1999). A book that includes descriptions of many, many packages for extending LaTeX is Goossens's (1993) "The LaTeX Companion" (Addison-Wesley).
