The ToBI Clinic was a casual weekly meeting at which people of all skill levels would learn and practice ToBI transcription of American English intonation patterns using PRAAT. The clinic ran from January 2004 through April 2005. We started with the basics and gradually moved on to more difficult utterances. Below is a list of links for beginning transcribers, a link to the quarterly schedules, and a table of simple intonation patterns. In the quarterly schedules you will find wav files, textgrids, and notes.
