• This study investigates the extent to which unit selection synthesis can produce natural sounding intonation. By replicating an eye-tracking experiment in the real-world object manipulation paradigm (Ito & Speer, 2008), the experiment tests the effect of intonation in synthesized speech on the referential resolution.
