795.61 Sociolinguistics/Historical Linguistics U G 1


This is a weekly forum open to anyone with an interest in sociolinguistics
or historical linguistics. A varied schedule is planned of paper reading,
presentations of work in progress, and general discussion. Students
currently or potentially specializing in sociolinguistics or historical
linguistics are encouraged to attend on a regular basis and may sign up for
1 hour of credit. Others (including undergraduates) are welcome to drop in
on an ad hoc basis.
